Valeri Repass Follow Up

Dot's Quilt Shop

The owner of Dot's Quilt Shop, Valeri Repass, joined us for a lovely program and workshop. Some highlights from the meeting included her personal history as a quilter, shop owner and Middle School Math teacher. She was very encouraging and told a poignant account of how quilts can make a big difference in our communities. Her workshop focused on Sassy Sunflower Half Pack Quilts. These are easy patterns that come together quickly, perfect for last minute gifts and donation quilts. Dot's Quilt Shop is located at 204 Dewey Avenue Poteau, Oklahoma. We enjoyed Valeri so much that we have invited her to come back in June 2027. She will offer a different workshop & program, we look forward to learning more from her next year.

One Block Wonder AKA Stack & Whack

During her presentation Valeri taught us about the Design Helper at the One Block Wonder website. You can upload a photo of your fabric or panel and this website will show you how your stack & whack blocks might look. You can manipulate the placement and see a variety of other options.
